Description
After failed orthodontic retention of lower incisor.
From sedation to last sutur, including guidelines for patient and photo documentation.
With 6 HD cameras in the surgery we will show every detail. Not only the up close surgical procedure, but also the collaboration between assistant, surgeon and patient.
Ask questions during the procedure.
Everything is recorded and you will be able to repeat the whole thing again and again, until this procedure is “common” for you and your team.
This specific case had a relapse of the teeth when retention cord failed. Unfortunately a common situation.
Went back and got orthodontic treatment – again – and got the teeth/roots back on track, so it is possible to perform connective tissue grafting with a predictable outcome.
It is recommended to have retainer and sometimes also a clear retainer brace in night, to secure teeth from moving back to original position.
This short live course is showing a connective tissue transplantation from the palate to the site.
